This listing is for a vintage furisode (long sleeved) underkimono (called juban in Japanese) made to be worn beneath a formal furisode kimono. Underkimono make great robes because they are shorter than outer kimono and don't have extra length needing to be folded over to pad the waist. Juban are typically a mix of white/cream/pink with a floral jacquard, but rarely other embellishments.  Each has a white collar that would be covered by an elaborately embroidered over-collar before being worn beneath the very formal furisode.

We purchased several of these in a bundle - all priced the same but each is different. The main photos show several of the motifs - choose the one you like best.
