This listing is for a vintage Japanese kimono and obi combination. 

The kimono features an overall arashi shibori design in orange on cream. This pole-wrapped shibori technique is meant to mimic rain as arashi means "storm" in Japanese. Look closely to see the tiny needle holes still visible from this hand-tied process.  See video below on the shibori technique.

The obi was made for summer wear, with an open weave swirling water pattern woven in gold against a deep rusty orange. This is a fukuro style obi - wide the entire length with a plain backside.  This one is patterned the whole length - it does not have the typical solid colored section of a fukuro obi.
