This listing is for a vintage Japanese kimono and obi combination. 

The kimono features an overall honeycomb grid design with little shibori squares scattered about. The brown and cream palette are a coffee lover's delight!  The shibori appears real - there is still a bit of pucker - but it could have been stenciled.  See the video below on the shibori technique. 

The obi is a golden brown that matches the kimono so well, with a bright golden yellow leaf design at the waist and the bow sedtion. The fabric is firm but flexible - easy to tie.

The obi is a modified nagoya style - only the tail end is folded over to half width (rather than the entire belt portion), so almost the entire length is wide (14").  The large feature element at the bow end is repeated in a smaller scale placed to appear at the front belt area when tied.
