This listing is for a vintage Japanese kimono and obi combination. It is a casual, unlined, and light weight kimono that could be worn during the humid days of summer. 

This striking kimono is an odori or dance performance kimono and marries serenity with spectacle. The soft, pale blue serves as a poised backdrop, with a flashy, asymmetrical design angled across the shoulders, sleeve, and hem. Bold stripes with jagged brushstroke edges contrast in black, gold, and orange.

Unfortunately, as with many light-colored kimono there are blemishes, see last photos. The fabric is synthetic, which might take spot-cleaning better than silk, but be careful of water spots - test an inner seam first.

We paired this kimono with a hanhaba (half width) obi that matches the flair of the kimono in a radiant orange and gold brocade. This obi is 5 inches wide and 10 feet long.
