This listing is for a vintage Japanese casual kimono made for a woman.

The kimono is a gray-blue silk with a slight crepe texture.  The pattern of repeated rows of a circle motif in white and black (or very, very dark blue) seems very mid-century modern (MCM) to us.  We believe that the design was made with a wax (or perhaps rice paste) resist - look closely to see the crackle marks in the white sections of the circle. 

Likely made for a casual summer occasion given that it is unlined except for a partial lining of the lower back.
