This listing is for an extra-large vintage Japanese kimono called a yogi. These garments, often padded, were made to be used like a comforter or blanket to keep warm at night. Thia yogi is not padded - even the lining was removed, so in its place is an over-sized kimono that could be lined and finished into an XXL kimono.

This yogi features a water plantain (omo-daka) crest with cresting waves along the hem.  There is one hand-patched area (see photo) but it is in very good (wearable!) condition but could use some TLC - see last photo.
