This listing is for a vintage indigo-dyed Japanese kimono, padded for warmth.

The color is a very dark indigo - almost black - with woven pinstripes in a light yellow.  The fiber is cotton and the padding is likely also cotton batting, though silk is sometimes also used.  Padded kimono were common especially in rural areas where houses had no central heating and paper doors.
