This listing is for a vintage Japanese kimono, obi, and obijime combination.

This luminous kimono glows in a mint green hue with a tone-on-tone woven pattern of large, elegant flowers and flowing vines gently unfurling across the fabric. The floral rinzu (figured silk) weave catches the light subtly, revealing its intricate details like a secret garden illuminated under moonlight. This style of kimono, called iromuji in Japanese, is typical of what would be worn by a practitioner of chado – traditional Japanese tea ceremony, see video below. A single white wisteria crest (mon) appears at the back neckline.

The obi matches the softness with subtle pastel hues and floral motifs. This is a fukuro obi - wide for the entire length, plain on the backside and a patterned design only on the front. There is a one yard "blank" section on the front, as is common with contemporary fukuro obi, where some cost can be saved by leaving it blank where the first wrap layer of the belt portion occurs, since it doesn't show to the public.

The obijime is a flat braid - green and pink.
