This listing is for a complete set of vintage hanafuda cards. Hanafuda is a traditional Japanese card game that blends art, strategy, and seasonal symbolism. 

This set features a warm, time softened patina and charming hand cut edges, with classic motifs in bold colors. Some cards feature additional text showing the maker's mark and trademark characters, one translating to "high standard" which was often used by smaller workshops. This set shows personality with vintage appeal - a well-loved deck.

The set is housed in a clear plastic lift top case with a deep red base, a widely used style. The underside features the stamped characters meaning "good fortune", a traditional symbol often used on game sets to bring luck to play. The case shows gentle wear, but still sturdy. 

This set is in very good vintage condition with signs of age, worn edges, and slight mottling. Each card is 1.25 inches x 2 inches.
