This listing is for a woman's Japanese summer kimono - called a yukata. These are unlined cotton robes usually worn to casual gatherings or for summer festivals. Yukata are also sometimes offered to guests in Japanese inns and hotels. Yukata are popular these days as bath robes, beach or poolside cover ups, or for Japanese festivals or sushi parties anywhere in the world.

Crisp and confident - this yukata features classic vertical stripes giving a clean and minimalist quality to the design. The color is a soft pastel gray-blue.

We paired this yukata with a han (half) obi that complements the straight lines of the kimono with a yagasuri (arrow fletching) motif in shades of pink. This obi is 7 inches wide and 10.5 feet long.
