This listing is for a pair of haori himo ties - a finishing touch for a traditionally-worn haori jacket. 

Each haori comes with little fabric loops sewn on each side of the front collar panel - the haori himo ties are attached there.

Originally, each tie was attached by pushing the looped end of the tie through the sewn loop on the jacket and then threading the tasseled end of the tie through the himo tie loop.  Sounds complicated and can be if you're not familiar.  And even if you get them attached, it's a challenge to get the knot just right so it lays flat. And then you have to untie the knot to take the jacket off!

So to make wearing them easier, we have pre-tied the haori himo and added a safety-pin-style clasp that is easily attached through the loops.
