This listing is for a pair of vintage hakama for a small boy. These would have been worn with a formal kimono to a ceremonial event, such as Shichi-Go-San (see video below for more about this holiday),

The fabric feels like a smooth, crisp silk but it may be a blend. Classic color combination of blue and gray. Skirt style. Note the deep side slits which are typical of hakama, and the short back ties and extra long front ties.
