This listing is for a traditional underkimono (juban in Japanese) designed to be worn beneath a girl's kimono.

Traditional symbolism in a smaller scale. This juban features a soft striped jacquard weave that adds subtle texture across the pale pink background, finished with bright red lining in the sleeves for contrast. The embroidered collar highlights pine, plum blossom, and bamboo, known together as the Three Friends of Winter, symbols of resilience, longevity, and renewal.

Note that there is a 7" tuck at the waist the (which is how a kimono would be shortened), and this could be easily undone if a longer length is needed.

Girls juban kimono are traditional underlayers worn beneath a formal kimono, often chosen with special attention to color and collar detail. While mostly hidden, the collar and sleeve edges are meant to show. Juban are commonly worn for celebrations such as Shichi Go San, making them an important part of the full dressed look.
