Description

This listing is for a vintage Japanese kinchaku (drawstring) purse. These are a prized accessory for a kimono-clad woman even today. They're typically made with kimono fabric, have a flat base, and tend to be used for casual, rather than formal, occasions.

This bag has a rectangular flat bottom covered in the same orange fabric from the pouch. Lovely complementing colors of orange with a sage green that is patterned with sakura (cherry blossoms) and butterflies. This bag has a whimsical touch with white petals floating between the motifs.

Orange cording is threaded through the sewn loops at the top to cinch the bag closed.
