This listing is for a vintage Japanese kinchaku (drawstring) purse. These are a prized accessory for a kimono-clad woman even today. They're typically made with kimono fabric, have a flat base, and tend to be used for casual, rather than formal, occasions.

This bag has a square flat bottom covered with the same fabric that creates the pouch. The weave includes silver metallic threads the sparkle a bit, and the corners were constructed with solid black rayon crepe.

Pink cording is threaded through the sewn loops at the top to cinch the bag closed.
