This listing is for a vintage Japanese kimono and obi combination.

The kimono is a lovely ocean blue color with a simple, subtle design of thin vertical bands in an olive green and even thinner angled white lines. Those white lines were actually done with a type of ikat technique. Lined, silk, and in excellent condition.

Waist/hips=46in

The obi is a hakata obi - a firm single layer with a woven pattern that is meant for a fairly casual event. A golden wheat color, it accents (but does not match) the olive bands and elevates the ensemble to a slightly more rich combination.

The obi is 14in wide for the entire 3-yard-plus length.
