This is a maru obi - the highest level of formality - but it is only half the width of the standard maru obi.

Bright, joyful, and full of movement, this han maru style obi captures the spirit of a lively spring garden. Vivid green silk shimmers with woven gold texture, while bold red and soft cream blossoms scatter across the surface with flowing stems and fresh leaves. The design balances vintage charm with modern energy.

Subtle signs of age add character and authenticity, reminding us that this piece has lived a life before becoming part of yours.

Maru obi make elegant table runners or dramatic wall displays.
