This listing is for one yard of fabric salvaged from a vintage Japanese kimono.

This silk is smooth, soft, and drapey - it is fairly lightweight but heavier than lining silk.

Thin black lines run the length of the fabric, alternating with wider pink and white lines.  

Look closely to see that the white "lines" are actually shibori-resisted areas.  Look even more closely to see that the pink background was also created with a very sutble shibori process. (It's easier to see from the backside - see last photo.)
