This listing is for a vintage Japanese kimono, obi, and obijime combination.

Deep forest green - almost black - with timeless asanoha (star hemp) motif created in tiny ikat woven crosses. This pattern formed from intersecting diamonds symbolizes strength, growth, and protection. Up close the crosses appear to have a star-like quality to them like a constellation map drawn in thread.

The obi pairs earth and sky, strength and softness, with large blooming mums against a light plum background. This obi is nagoya style which have a specialized shape - folded and sewn to a 6-7" width for the portion that wraps around the waist but left wide (13-14") for about one yard at the end which would be tied into an elaborate bow.

The obijime is a flat braid of pink.
