This listing is for one yard from a deadstock bolt of unsewn, unused vintage Japanese kimono fabric.

This is a soft and drapey silk with a slightly raised - almost velveteen - pattern of florals, leaves and birds that look like pigeons to us. A bit hard to see in the photos and yes, it is black-on-black, so very subtle. Great scarf weight. Fun to handle.

Great for piecework, especially when combined with other vintage kimono remnants. Continuous yardage may be available.
