This listing is for one yard from a deadstock bolt of unsewn, unused vintage Japanese kimono fabric.

This fabric features a dark purple silk with scattered cream and yellow circles that appear like floating bubbles or perhaps falling snow. The edges of the circles suggest these elements were shibori dyed. See the video below about the shibori technique.

Great for piecework, especially when combined with other vintage kimono remnants.
