This listing is for a full "bolt" of black silk intended to be made into a traditional fukuro obi.

Still with its original wrapper, this bolt features a flowing stream pattern with paulownia floating along one side and a series of small traditional motifs along the other.

The weaving is fairly stiff, as expected for an obi - making the weight and feel excellent for pillows, vests, trim, or wall decor.

This bolt is tacked shut so we have not unrolled it but we believe that the length will be the typical 11+ feet; the width is 14 inches.

The original washi-paper wrapper is a nice bonus.
