This listing is for a full "bolt" of black silk intended to be made into a traditional fukuro obi.

Still in its original wrapper, this bolt features an angled lozenge motif that is placed to suggest a mountain peak surrounded by clouds.  Many other traditional elements fill the design. 

The weaving is fairly stiff, as expected for an obi - making the weight and feel excellent for pillows, vests, trim, or wall decor.

This bolt is tacked shut so we have not unrolled it but we believe that the length will be the typical 11+ feet; the width is 14 inches. - 

The original coated-paper wrapper is a nice bonus.
