This listing is for one yard from a deadstock bolt of unsewn, unused vintage Japanese kimono fabric.

This fabric features a creamy black silk with an overall takewaku (rising steam) design and ornate, abstract florals in shades of orange and cream. The tatewaku patterning is mirrored in a subtle tone-on-tone jacquard as well as appearing beneath the wavering lines in cream.

Great for piecework, especially when combined with other vintage kimono remnants.
