This listing is for one yard from a deadstock bolt of unsewn, unused vintage Japanese kimono fabric.

This silk is a delight - purple and a slightly buttercream color create angles that give depth and dimension to the design. A geometry teacher's dream! The crackle you see in the lighter color could have been made with a wax or rice paste resist. Beautifully done, quite striking!

Great for piecework, especially when combined with other vintage kimono remnants. Continuous yardage may be available.
