Description

This listing is for a six-yard length of unused vintage Japanese fabric intended to be made into a kimono but never was.

This silk is mysterious. The color is "almost black", with a woven pattern of diagonal bands - each filled with abstract patterning. We thought it might be calligraphy, but our Japanese friends didn't think so. The imagery is the same on the front and backside, so it could be used on either.

This is a "partial bolt" of six continuous yards. The rest of the bolt is offered by the yard in a separate listing.
