This listing is for a six-yard length of unused vintage Japanese fabric intended to be made into a kimono but never was.  

The patterning and colors call out the 1950s for us.  A gray-teal background with printed florals in gold, red and others.  The black blossoms are filled with a faux shibori pattern.  It's all been printed, however.

Beneath the print, the silk weave includes a wild ginger jacquard that is quite subtle until it catches the light. 

This is a "partial bolt" of six continuous yards.  The rest of the bolt is offered by the yard in a separate listing.
