A bold, playful piece that doesn’t hold back, this vintage haori features a lively field of vertical ripple stripes in olive green, golden yellow, and bright red, created using a resist-dye technique that gives each line a soft, brushstroke edge. The flowing, slightly irregular stripes evoke movement, like grasses in the wind or streams of color, a subtle nod to nature.

Inside, the lining adds an unexpected twist. A vivid red background patterned with stylized faces, likely inspired by folk or festival imagery, brings personality and a touch of humor to the garment.
