Bold and graphic, this haori reads like a field of flowers reimagined through ink and stencil. The surface is packed with a mosaic of blossoms and leaves outlined in strong black lines, filled with crisp hits of red, mustard, soft blue, and olive. It has a distinctly mid-century -- almost pop-art -- feel. The dense, all-over composition creates a lively, puzzle-like effect while still feeling balanced. 

There are light areas of mottling consistent with age, but they blend into the busy pattern and don’t distract, see last photos.

A woman's haori is a traditional Japanese jacket worn over a kimono, designed to provide both warmth and an added layer of formality. Today, these jackets transition effortlessly into modern fashion as a lightweight, open-front layer.
