This listing is for an underkimono - called a "juban" in Japanese - which would be worn under a man's kimono. Juban often feature designs that reflect the interests of their owner but are rarely seen in public since they are layered underneath a kimono. Just in inch or two of the over-collar is visible, though you may catch a glimpse of the sleeve edge at the wrist. Juban make great casual robes.

This man's juban kimono features a soft gray background patterned with subtle horizontal striations, accented by bold bands in shades of charcoal and silver across the sleeves and torso. The mix of fine texture and strong linear contrast gives it both refinement and quiet strength, echoing the balance of form and function. 

The over-collar is dark gray. Partial lining at the shoulders. 

There is some discoloration or fading at the shoulders, see last photo, but still could be worn or displayed.

This kimono does not come with an obi/belt/sash, but we do make simple cotton sashes that can be added as an option when you order. We will choose a color that goes well with it.
