Description

This listing is for one yard from a deadstock bolt of unsewn, unused vintage Japanese kimono fabric.

The soft, creamy silk is luxurious to the touch. The background is a powdery pink with a jacquard diamond grid with each diamond filled with a slender four-petal flower that is the hishi (star) motif. Along the panel, once in each meter or so, a star was dyed a deep burgundy - subtle and elegant. The silk has a smooth sheen - great for a garment or scarf.

Great for piecework, especially when combined with other vintage kimono remnants. Continuous yardage may be available.
