This listing is for one yard from a deadstock bolt of unsewn, unused vintage Japanese kimono fabric.

This kimono fabric features lively, rhythmic stripes that run the length of the yardage. Cream background with primary color stripes - red, sky blue, and golden yellow create a bright and playful pattern. The lines have an irregular, brush-painted quality which suggests they might have actually been painted by hand.

As with many light-colored fabrics there is some overall very light mottling, but it is difficult to see and blends in with the cream background for the most part.

Great for piecework, especially when combined with other vintage kimono remnants. Continuous yardage may be available.
