This listing is for one yard from a deadstock bolt of unsewn, unused vintage Japanese kimono fabric.

This lovely ivory white kimono fabric is graced with subtle woven motifs and soft golden embroidery. Scattered across the yardage are kiku mon (chrysanthemum crests) with their petals outlined in delicate gold thread. The chrysanthemum is the crest of the imperial family, symbolizing longevity and nobility. Tone-on-tone jacquard of cranes and bamboo catch the light gently as the fabric shifts.
