This is a vintage Japanese casual kimono for a man. We know it's casual because it does not have any komon (family crests). These make great robes for leisurewear at home but can also make a statement if worn out to a party or special event.

This elegant men's kimono exudes quiet refinement through its soft brown silk with a natural slub weave that catches the light with warm golden undertones. The understated surface variation gives it an earthy, organic feel, like tones of sunlit sand or weathered bronze. Fully lined in smooth brown silk.

Sizing for men's vintage kimono is very limited since they were originally made for Japanese men, who typically had slender builds and an average height of 5'7". Taller, slender-to-medium build men will be able to wear these kimono but will find the sleeves ending between elbow and wrist and the hem ending somewhere on the shin. This kimono does not come with an obi/belt/sash, but we do make simple cotton sashes that can be added as an option when you order. We will choose a color that goes well with it.
