This listing is for a vintage bolo tie purchased from Japan. Bolo ties were a hot item in Japan in the 1980s and 1990s when the rockabilly trend was embraced and modified to showcase Japanese artistry.

This vintage bolo tie features a smooth resin circle in glowing shades of orange with a smoky blue-gray corner, paired with vivid cobalt blue cording for a bold retro contrast.  Resembles agate but we think it's resin. The soft gradient coloring and minimalist round shape give it an unmistakable 1970s modernist vibe that works equally well with western styling or contemporary fashion.
