This listing is for a vintage Japanese abacus - called soroban in Japanese. We purchased a large lot of these - maybe an accounting firm went out of business or bought calculators! All seem previously used but in great condition.

Sturdy wood and steel frame; plastic, resin beads. The sizes vary slightly but are between 14" and 16" long and average 3" wide.

Several cover options are available:  original box, turquoise snap case, or brown faux leather. Just after ordering, send us an email telling us which style case you want or if you don't want a case at all. If there's no note, we will send ones without a case.

Purchase three and we will include a 4th "mini" abacus as a gift!
