Description

This listing is for one yard of fabric salvaged from a vintage Japanese kimono.

Wide bands of a deep orange and a rich brown alternate all along the panel. The weaving has a bit of slub, as raw silk would, but this is a polyester, rayon and acetate blend (see last photo).

It can easily be mistaken for silk though, because it is crisp, has a sheen, and has the weight of silk. This is a "dead stock" partial bolt, never been cut, never been sewn.
