This listing is for a short table runner created from a contemporary Japanese obi (kimono belt), reduced from its original length to create a feature centerpiece for your table.

The pattern of overlapping bubbles, and the soft color combination, makes us think of mid-century modern decor. A brick color leads the palette, combining or alternating with gold and white to create the outlines and fill of dozens of circles.

This is indeed a vintage piece, with signs of age (see photos) but that only makes it more authentic and adds to the story. So yes, there are some blemishes here and there, but it's still a very cool feature piece!
