Bold color meets graphic simplicity in this playful vintage yukata cotton, where brilliant maple leaves seem to float among trailing flowers and vines. The crisp white ground is punctuated by dark blue floral silhouettes and delicate outlined foliage, while the maple leaves burst with airbrushed-looking gradients of turquoise, blue, green, yellow, pink, and purple. Maple leaves, or momiji, are closely associated with autumn and the beauty of seasonal change, giving the fabric a traditional nature motif with a distinctly modern, almost pop-art feel.
