This listing is for a set of five magnets covered with vintage Japanese kimono fabric - a great gift idea! Each magnet is actually a silk-covered button blank with a magnet attached on the back. 

This set features silk with Japanese motifs created with katagami stencils. One features men marching in a parade. Two more depict traditional Japanese garden scenery. The last two are floral with pretty shading. Grays, purples, and burgundy with pops of color. (See videos below for how each technique is done.) 

These little gems combine fun and function, offering a Japanique twist for a teacher's whiteboard, a student's locker, or the home fridge. We love upcycling kimono fabric into "usable art", and they make great gifts, stocking stuffers, party favors...
