This listing is for a set of five magnets covered with vintage Japanese kimono fabric - a great gift idea! Each magnet is actually a silk-covered button blank with a magnet attached on the back. 

This set features two woven plaid patterns in primary colors, one is a faux shibori in Japanese red, and another is red with a real shibori pattern. The last is a dark blue with hand painted hash marks. Primary color palette with reds, blues, and yellows. (See videos below for how each technique is done.) 

These little gems combine fun and function, offering a Japanique twist for a teacher's whiteboard, a student's locker, or the home fridge. We love upcycling kimono fabric into "usable art", and they great make gifts, stocking stuffers, party favors...
