We have shortened a women's vintage kimono to create this Japanique Boutique Robe to an easy-to-wear 45 inches. The result is a versatile garment that works beautifully as a robe, layering cover-up, or relaxed tunic. Wear it open for an effortless drape or tied closed for a more traditional kimono silhouette.

Warm, earthy tones and delicate patterning give this vintage kimono robe a quietly striking presence. The silk features a fine allover dotted komon (small repeat) design, creating subtle texture and visual depth. Look closely to see the speckled tone-on-tone jacquard that echoes the dotted snow-like pattern. The background has soft gradations, creating a hazy, overcast look in warm tan and caramel tones. 

There are a couple very light blemishes on the sleeves (see last photo), but they do blend with the background and are hard to see from a distance.
