This listing is for a contemporary (1980s or 90s) Japanese han (half-width) maru-style obi. Maru obi are the most formal style of obi with patterning on both sides (which makes it more expensive). Japanese obi make elegant table runners, mantle covers, or wall decor.

This obi features Christmas holiday colors - green, red, gold, white, black - in an overlapping circle pattern (seigaiha) that completely fills the field.  What a festive table runner or decor piece this would make for the holidays!

The backside is the same fabric - reversible!

11' long and 7" wide. Excellent condition.
