This listing is for a continuous 11-yard bolt of kimono fabric that was intended to be made into a woman's yukata kimono. 

Bold, playful, and unmistakably retro, this unused yukata cotton bolt features oversized apples floating through an abstract composition of pink, turquoise, black, red, and yellow. The fruit is rendered with loose, almost ink-wash shading and surrounded by sweeping black lines, geometric color fields, and smaller cherries, giving the design a wonderfully mid-century graphic quality.

The cotton has a noticeably crisp, stiff hand, likely from its original finishing or sizing, and the original labels are included.

Scattered areas of pale discoloration or mottling are present throughout; some appear consistent with the original design; others are blemishes from age or poor storage.
