Rich and luminous, this tapestry features a flowing cascade of florals set against a softly textured gold ground that shimmers as the light moves. The design highlights chrysanthemum blossoms in shades of orange, cream, and soft yellow, layered with smaller white accent flowers.

Chrysanthemums are one of the most important motifs in Japanese design, closely associated with the fall season and imperial iconography. The sweeping arrangement feels like blooms drifting across a gilded landscape, balanced by the organic, almost painterly gold background.

It comes ready to hang with a sturdy cardboard rod (formerly the cardboard core of a kimono fabric bolt) and cording - both easily removable and replaceable to suit your space.
