Description

This listing is for a vintage Japanese kimono made for a young girl to wear to a formal event, possibly to the local shrine during the 7-5-3 Festival (Shichi-Go-San Matsuri).

Celebrate tradition in dazzling style with this formal girl's kimono, where brilliant red fades into soft blush pink beneath elegant yuzen artistry and shimmering gold leaf accents. A richly decorated imperial cart, treasure ship, and colorful temari are surrounded by lush peonies, chrysanthemums, and plum blossoms, symbols of prosperity, good fortune, beauty, and joyful new beginnings, making this an unforgettable piece for special occasions.

Vintage Japanese children's kimono make eye-catching displays in spaces too small to accommodate a full-sized kimono. We offer display rods (click the tab below) if you're going to display this kimono.

If purchasing this to be worn, please check the measurements given carefully. Children's kimono run small!
