This listing is for a traditional fukuro style obi. 

Bold, architectural, and unmistakable modern, this fukuro obi pairs a rich dark blue background with striking woven bands of cream and deep red. The abstract vertical motif feels rhythmic and graphic, almost like stylized posts or signal markers marching across a night sky. The texture of the weave adds depth to the clean geometry, making a strong statement.

The entire front side is patterned - no blank sections as we usually find on a fukuro obi - creating an uninterrupted and eye-catching design from every angle. Each motif is 6" long and it repeats nine different times.

The backside features its exposed lining - a solid, cream-colored fabric.  The front fabric wraps around the to the back to create a nice, finished edge.
