Our Japanique Mugs feature two kimono shapes, each filled with an image taken from a vintage Japanese kimono. Between the two images is the phrase "Ichi-go Ichi-e" as well as the Japanese kanji for it.

Ichi-go ichi-e is a Japanese saying that means, literally: One time, one meeting. But loosely translated, it means: Seize the moment, for it will not come again.

This mug features a floral and mandarin duck pattern in pinks and lively summer colors taken from a vintage Japanese woman's semi-formal kimono.
