This listing is for a mino-style kimono cape - a traditional raincape worn by travelers earlier in the 20th Century! It belongs in a museum or the care of a serious collector.

This traditional outer garment is a voluminous, circular-cut cape with a bold indigo and golden-brown striped pattern on the outside and an indigo kasuri-woven design of circles on the lining. Trimmed with a yellow edging and finished with a loop-and-button closure.

The wide, draping cut provides full coverage over the shoulders and upper body. Still quite wearable!

These capes are true antiques and rarely are they found in such excellent condition.
