A mesmerizing mix of diamonds and squares gives this vintage katagami stencil a bold, rhythmic geometric design. Six large diamonds filled with tiny interlocking X-shaped and curved cutouts alternate with a precise grid of rounded squares, creating a fascinating contrast of intricate patterns. Delicate dotted borders and carefully carved openings showcase the remarkable precision of the stencil's craftsmanship.

Measuring 16" x 12.5", this stencil shows signs of age and use, including surface discoloration, dark staining, faint markings, creases, and minor chips and tears along the edges.

These stencils are still usable but would need a gentle touch and to be moistened before use.  Nowadays, more durable plastic versions are used.
