This listing is for a vintage obijime - the finishing touch for a kimono ensemble. Obijime are wound across the middle of the obi belt and tied with a decorative knot at the front.  It is a braided or woven cording, sometimes referred to as kumihimo with a color and design that complements the obi rather than matching the color. This obijime is a casual-style, smooth, flat weave in  two shades of berry colors - one is more raspberry ice cream and the other is more strawberry gelato. 

The patterning seems abstract but might include a floral blossom. Each side is the same pattern with colors reversed.
